Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 annual Children's Christmas Party
The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 annual Children’s Christmas Party held on Sunday, December 18th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. It was a huge success with over thirty children and, many parents and grandparents in attendance. A Coloring contest, Christmas Candle making, Face Painting and Christmas music were the planned events. The children and families dined on Hot Dogs, Macaroni & Cheese, Potato Chips, Chocolate Chip Cookies and soft drinks. Raffle tickets for two Bicycles (boy and girl), a Scooter, and the “Big” Red Stocking are $5.00 each were sold. Proceeds from this raffle fund this annual event. The party featured Santa Clause (David Crimmins) and Santa’s helper “Jingles the Elk” (Kaylee Harris) who paid us a special visit with a present waiting for every child in the Runyon Room.

Robin Hauer won the Girls Bike
Tammy Peters won the Boys Bike
Randy Thacker won the Scooter
Also, every Table Placemat Coloring winner took home a T-Shirt.

Also thank you to Lodge 343 members PER Steve & Tammy Peters, Jan Wyllie, David Crimmins, Chef Rob Farrell, Aliena Drummond, Melissa Lieberman and helper Kaylee Harris along with everyone else who helped out with this event. A special thank you to Thorpe Printing in Marysville for donating 200 coloring placemats for the event.
