2022-2023 Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant $2,000.00 (Awarded)
The Church of Freedom Lighthouse Fellowship provides food to over 150 families a week, plus sponsors a monthly Family Fun Day. They also do a “Scoutreach” program for 3 local schools, with 75 active students from Cleveland Literacy Academy, Woodrow Steam Academy and Eastshore Leadership Academy. The Church has a diverse unity outreach center under the churchc501c3 state code. Their goal is to serve the needs of our Local community while helping those less fortunate, knowing they are feed and clothe during times of struggle. Pastor Gene Warren and his staff are honorable people and have a great repour with many members of Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 who have assisted the Church’s process of helping others with personal donations, preparing meals, providing food baskets, winter clothing and hygiene products. Also, while supporting the youth program and providing for those in need while assisting when called upon. With this 2022-2023 Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant in the amount of $2,000.00 we are now assisting even more.
