West Shore Elks is first and foremost a philanthropic entity, giving thousands of dollars in money and goods to local charities. The money for these donations are raised through the Ways and Means Committee with events such as the golf outing, the Big Elk, and the upcoming Pro Wrestling event.

These are just a few of the most recent donations.

  • Elks National Foundation: $1000. This year ENF grants to local lodges topped over $16 million for community support projects.
  • Speranza Animal Shelter: $100
  • Hospice of Central PA: $100
  • Vicky‚Äôs Angel Walk: $100
  • PA Legacy Trust: $200 The Pennsylvania Elks Legacy Trust Fund was established to support the Home Service Program.  All funds collected stay in Pennsylvania to aid Pennsylvanians with developmental conditions.  Only the interest from our principal investment is used to support the Home Service Program and the principal stays in the investment account.

All charitable donations are motioned at the Lodge meetings and any Elk in attendance has the option to dispute donations. Lodge meeting minutes are available to any Lodge member in good standing.

Please consider donating to both ENF and Pa Legacy Trust when you renew your membership.
