Jay County Community Day was a great success!
We the Dunkirk Elks and the Portland Eagles passed
out 300 backpacks. There were School Supplies, Vaccinations, Free Haircuts, Hot Dogs and a Bounce House. At 12 o'clock Batman came in the Batmobile and had a message about right and wrong. He was Awesome.
It was the first of this kind of event and was a great Success and I’m proud the Dunkirk Elks could be a part art of it.
Thank you Portland Eagles for inviting us.
The best $500 we have spent in awhile.
Dunkirk Elks and Portland Eagles donated $1000 for
backpacks to give away to the community kids at the
Jay Community Day held at the Jay County Fairgrounds.
A fun day and nice for the Dunkirk Elks to be a part of
this event. Doris & Barry Barger and Vicky May were
there on behalf of the Dunkirk Elks.
