December 2021 Er Corner

Greeting My Fellow Elks: The month of November was great. I hope that everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving with family & friends. The Lodge participated in many Community Activities since our last newsletter. Community members are seeing what we are all about- Giving back to the community. The Trunk or Treat was a great success. I want to thank Vickie Little for coordinating the event. We participated in the Veterans’ Day parade. Thanks to Richard Blatter for donating to the cost of the float. The Elks’ Veterans’ float came in First Place. On the night of 10th November, we honored our veterans. This day has a special spot in my heart. Having served in the military I know the sacrifices that a soldier must make. It’s not easy being in the military.

We have slowed down on the Dues coming in. If you have not paid your dues, please do so. We have 33 members that haven’t paid their dues. We have initiated 45 New Members since the start of the year. Currently we have 365 members. The House Committee has a lot of events coming up.

We have had great turnouts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday nights. I want to thank all our volunteers for working and everyone that is coming out those nights.

Mrs. Vickie Little and her committee will have the Kids’ Christmas Party on the 17th of December 2021. I understand that the Big Red Guy will be there. The end of your year is approaching quickly.

We will be nominating officers for the year 2022- 2023 in February. I’m asking that members get involved in the daily running of the Lodge. It takes a lot of time, effort, dedication, and compassion.

Again, Thank You for supporting your Lodge. We have a lot of members doing great things around the Lodge. I wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
