Mark your calendar for the Greater Pine Island Elks Octoberfest celebration! This two-day event, is scheduled for October 1st and 2nd is open to public. Octoberfest may have originated in Germany but you don't need to save up for airfare if you want to celebrate the two-day autumn festival. In fact here on Pine Island we got such an array of beer-and-brats inspired celebration you might feel like you're in Munich.
This gala event will be full of good food, fun and friends, so put on your lederhosen and come celebrate with German food and music at the Elks. 
Friday evening join us in our transformed TIKI/Biergarten for a Pork schnitzel dinner with braised red cabbage and potatoes. Reservations Requested for Friday Dinner call 239-283-4388 and reserve your table.   
Saturday Noon – 5 pm continue the celebration in the TIKI/Biergarten with bratwurst and homemade German soft pretzels. Greater Pine Island Elks, 5630 Pine Island Rd, Bokeelia.  
The Greater Pine Island Elks is a charitable organization giving back to the community with funds raised for scholarships available to high school senior from Pine Island and youth attending the summer Florida Elks Youth Camp, support to the Greater Pine Island Elementary School, Pine Island Food Pantry, Beacon of Hope, Pine Island Little League, the Pine Island Library, the PILOT afterschool program, Boy Scout Troop #20, veterans and the elderly on the island.
