RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE ARE OPEN

Yes! The social quarters (restaurant & lounge) will open for business as of Monday, June 1st, under the Phase 2 guidance from the State of Washington.

New, temporary, hours will be;

Mon - Wed 11 am - 7 pm (Lunch & Dinner)
Thurs & Fri 11 am - 9 pm (Lunch & Dinner)
Sat 8 am - 2 pm (Breakfast & Lunch)

Employees will be screened daily for symptoms and will follow strict hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting protocols. They will also be required to wear a mask.

It is suggested that members and guests wear a mask when not seated at a table and consuming food and drink (i.e. coming / going, travel to the restroom, etc)

Tables have been set to allow for proper 6 foot social distance between them. Tables are limited to a maximum of 5 people. No pulling tables together, etc for larger groups.

Maximum occupancy in the lounge will be 50 people. If needed, we can seat in the ballroom as well with a similar restriction of 50 people. The patio is set to allow for social distance. Seating there does not effect the interior numbers yet is limited to the number of people that can safely maintain proper distance.

Each table will be cleaned and disinfected when turned from one group to the next. Disposable menus will be used and other changes will be made to accommodate these new rules.

There are a couple of events scheduled, such as the ER Picnic. These will go forward, with the rules being applied.

Lodge meetings are still not allowed. We anticipate doing so in "Phase 3" and are tentatively planning for late June or early July. The annual car show is still being planned for August, pending the updated rules on gatherings.

PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH STAFF AND OFFICERS!

We are all working together to open to our members and gather as Elks, to continue the good work we do in our communities.

There are challenges and we will meet them with "charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity!" Be respectful in your interactions and help us comply with the rules.

If you have questions or concerns, address them to the House Committee, the Board of Directors or the Exalted Ruler. Do NOT challenge the staff or volunteers.

We are looking forward to welcoming many of you back next week! Stay safe and stay healthy!

Cheers to Elkdom!
