Warm wELKcome to the Golden Library
On October 26th the Golden Elks partnered with the Golden Library and hosted a “Warm wELKome to the Golden Library” event at the Golden library using the Spotlight and Beacon grants combined to fund the activity. The purpose was to provide young people in need of a winter coat with a hood and gloves and to expose them to the resources of the library. In addition, participants signed up to get a library card.
We had face painting, card making, helium balloons, free books and a photo booth with lots of props to dress up in and get pictures taken.
