Athens, OH Lodge No. 973 was instituted in 1906, and currently has 610 members.For the year 2027, the lodge was awarded FREEDOM, SPOTLIGHT, BEACON and GRATITUDE Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.The lodge meets 2nd Wednesdays, except Feb, Mar & Apr then on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday only, at 600 W Union St, Rte 682 to W Union St, from Rt 50 or Rt 33, Athens, OH.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is Steve Sammons, and the Secretary is Charlotte D'Augustine.
