Cocoa Beach, FL Lodge No. 2387

Cocoa Beach Elks Lodge #2387 is located on a beautiful ribbon of sand in the world famous downtown Cocoa Beach, just 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Although we have a great time getting together for weekly social activities and dinners, our emphasis and dedication is to SERVE and SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY.

SUPPORTING HOMELESS VETERANS who are transitioning to permanent housing. Each month we take Veterans shopping for $300 worth of supplies (aka Welcome Home Kits) for their permanent home. We have served over 700 Veterans and are ranked 1st in the state of Florida and also 2nd in the nation of more than 2,000 lodges since the program began in 2016. We are sincerely thankful to our partners; Volunteers of America in Cocoa, Housing for Homeless in Titusville and Support Services for Veterans Families in Cocoa and the Dollar General Store at 595 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach.

SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL YOUTH: the largest fundraisers are focused on Cocoa Beach High School. Overall, wdonated and raised OVER $50,000 for the 2022-2023 school year!

- Car Washes: we partner with the local Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs to hold monthly car washes during the school year.

- Other CBHS Fundraisers: We’ve also made a total of $10,000 in donations as of April 2023, to the Cocoa Beach High School JROTC Military Ball, Project Graduation, Get on Track and other 5k races.

- College Scholarships: Each year we award scholarships to Cocoa Beach High School graduates. At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, we awarded a total of $15,000 worth of scholarships to 16 graduates to further their educations. Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School principal Dr. Mark Rendell, said “I have never met a group so supportive of local schools. Cocoa Beach is blessed to have the Elks. We cannot thank you enough.“

- Vocational and Technical Trade Scholarships: During the 2023-2024 school year, our Lodge kicked off a grassroots effort to support the Technical and Vocational Trades education and career development. We are awarding $1,000 Vocational and Technical Trade scholarships for local high school seniors in the spring of 2024. This effort is welcomed by the Cocoa Beach High School Career and Technical Trade Education (CTE) department of the Brevard Public Schools.

ANTLERS PROGRAM: We are so proud to open our first charter of the "Space Coast Antlers" Lodge in the 2023-2024 school year. It is a chance for young people in our community to get involved with the Cocoa Beach Elks Lodge and the service-related projects we sponsor, and of their own. They work hard not only to establish the charter but to support and serve our community.

They raised and donated money to charities which they chose such as Minds Without Borders, the Brotherhood Ride, the local Children's Hunger Project, Give the Kids the World and others. They passed out Drug Awareness pamphlets the the annual Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot, serve and bus tables for Lodge dinners, volunteered to shop with homeless Veterans for our Welcome Kit Program, participate in beach clean up events, collect toys for Toys For Tots, collected and packed food for the Lodge Christmas food drive, and so much more.

we want to meet the most basic of needs in our community and that is to help feed local families. We are regularly donating $1,000 each to several of our local church food pantries. As of the end of April 2023, a total of $6,000 had been donated to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (an outreach of Church of Our Saviour) and Club Zion Community churches in Cocoa Beach. We also donate to Toys For Tots, local First Responders and other opportunities that arise.

The camaraderie amongst members provides a great team to work together to serve our community and each other. We invite you to visit us and enjoy the fellowship of our Lodge - you can check our calendar of events HERE or check our Facebook page (which you can also see below).
