Seguin, TX Lodge No. 1229 was instituted in 1911, and currently has 135 members.For the year 2024, the lodge was awarded GRATITUDE, BEACON, SPOTLIGHT and FREEDOM Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.The lodge is the proud sponsor of Drew Hilton, a winner of the MVS Scholarship 2023.

The lodge meets 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, except July, Aug & Dec, then 2nd Tuesday only, at 1/4 Mi S of I-10 & Hwy 46, 1st left, Seguin, TX.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is Kristine Bode, and the Secretary is Gaynell Boswell.
