Lodge #0501 Home

Happy Thanksgiving!  It is hard to think that 2019 is almost gone.  The weather may be signaling the beginning of Winter and the hibernation of animals and foliage, but our Lodge is entering one of the busiest times of the year. We will begin planning for our biggest charity event of the year:  Christmas baskets for 250 needy families in our community!  Keep an eye on the weekly "Shout Out"s, and for information at the Lodge.  This is in addition to our normal lineup of activities at your Lodge.  There's no reason to get Cabin Fever.  Come on out to your Lodge and get involved.  This month will also see the return of our (in)famous "Rodent Run".  Check out the ECHO under the News tab for all the details.  See you at the Lodge!

Joplin Elks Lodge 501 is located at 1802 West 26th, in Joplin, Missouri. Lodge 501 was founded in 1899 and enjoys a heritage that is steeped with the best of Elk Traditions. We are honored to have one of our own, PER Don Cook, serve the Missouri Elks Association as State President for 2019-2020.  Nestled in the Heart of the Ozarks in SouthWest Missouri, Joplin has a population of 46,000. The population within a 40 mile radius of Joplin is 400,000, making it Missouri's 4th largest metropolitan area.  (Please note that the pictures on this site are of our Lodge which was destroyed in the tornado on May 22, 2011.  They remain here as a testimony of our commitment to our absent brothers lost on that day.)

We invite all guests of the web site to sign our guest book and please feel free to let us know how we are doing. Meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, and begin at 7pm.
