Lodge #0501 Home
Happy Birthday, America! (And Charles Genisio.) July is finally here, and with it the National Convention of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will be in St. Louis. We are honored to welcome members from across the nation to our state, and look forward to being "loud and proud"! (And our own Don Cook will carry the state flag in the parade of flags!) Our Lodge 4th of July will be celebrated on the 5th in the Pavilion with food, music and fellowship. And that is just the start of the month! Charity Breakfast (American Heart Association Heart Walk), tea dances, Chicken Annie's, a Corn Hole Tournament (yes, that's what I said); what more could you ask for?!? But there is more---just check out the ECHO under the News tab for all the details. See you at the Lodge!
Joplin Elks Lodge 501 is located at 1802 West 26th, in Joplin, Missouri. Lodge 501 was founded in 1899 and enjoys a heritage that is steeped with the best of Elk Traditions. We are honored to have one of our own, PER Don Cook, serve the Missouri Elks Association as State President for 2019-2020. Nestled in the Heart of the Ozarks in SouthWest Missouri, Joplin has a population of 46,000. The population within a 40 mile radius of Joplin is 400,000, making it Missouri's 4th largest metropolitan area. (Please note that the pictures on this site are of our Lodge which was destroyed in the tornado on May 22, 2011. They remain here as a testimony of our commitment to our absent brothers lost on that day.)
We invite all guests of the web site to sign our guest book and please feel free to let us know how we are doing. Meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, and begin at 7pm.
