Ohio River Valley, OH Lodge No. 231 was instituted in 1892, and currently has 257 members.For the year 2024, the lodge was awarded BEACON, GRATITUDE and FREEDOM Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.The lodge is the proud sponsor of Megan Malin, a winner of the MVS Scholarship 2023.

The lodge meets 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, except July, Aug & Dec, then 1st Tuesday only, off Rte 7 Hanover St, rt at red blinker onto 4th St, Lodge on the rt, 14 N 4th St, Martins Ferry, OH.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is John Burkett, and the Secretary is Rosemary Durant.
