The Tucson AZ Elks Lodge 385 hosted the September 5, 2022 Labor Day luncheon for veterans from the Tucson VA Medical Center. All attendees were appreciative of the big buffet meal that was served. We had many members volunteer from Elks Lodge #385 that cooked the meals and served the veterans. What a great day to honor those who served in the United States of America military that are and have served to protect our freedom and liberties that we benefit as free Americans. August 8th, 2022, Seventeen Crafty Critter Ladies of the Tucson Elks Lodge #385 had a work shop to support the Tucson U of A Steele Research Children’s Center. Donation of diapers, 78 pillowcases, zipper t-shirts for kids with ports, stuff toys and I spy Bags and more. Anne Koehler made 78 pillowcases, the group did another 35. Steele Center was very happy with our donations. And the ladies all had a great time. On August 15, 2022, Tucson Elks Lodge #385 Lecturing Knight Richard Bernard dropped off some donations to the Tucson VA Homeless.

August 2, 2022, Tucson Elks Lodge donated the $1,000 from the AZ Elks Major Projects per-capita donation goal of $8.00 per member to Amphi High School Basketball summer Kids league for grades 4 through 12. On July 27, 2022, the Tucson Elks Lodge #385 invited 22 Blind Veterans from the VA for a dinner which was served by the some Lodge and American Legion Riders members who also sat and talked about their service with them. All had a good time.



Sounds like fun!

This evening, July 7, 2022, as our extended thank you to the Tucson AZ Street Rod Association (TSRA) for their generous donation of $2,500.00 to sponsor the Elks Lodge 385 Cloth A Child program. (Photo, Myles Brown - TSRA, Wayne Burns - Past Exalted Ruler Elks Lodge 385, Jesse Lugo - TSRA Member and Trustee Elks Lodge 385). Twice a year the Elks Lodge 385 Cloth A Child program takes 25 elementary children on a clothing shopping spree, then treats them for lunch at the Lodge, afterwards gives each child a back pack stuffed with school supplies and then a new bicycle to take home provided by Bike In A Box with www.LugoCharities.com. We welcome you to join us as a member at the Elks Lodge 385 that is located at 1800 North Oracle Road as a grand organization that gives back to the Tucson community through various programs.

On May 25th, 2022, the Tucson AZ Elks Lodge #385 had 17 veterans arrive from the Tucson VA Blind Rehab Center for an amazing dinner of Country Fried Steak, mash potatoes, chocolate cake brownies for dessert. In photo at table and standing are members M. Megerle, W. Thompson and L. Ruiz
