On December 7th, 2024, Tucson AZ Elks Lodge 385 in conjunction with Lugo Charities - Bike in A Box event was held at Lodge #385. Volunteers helped unload five hundred bicycles to donate to local Tucson AZ under privileged children. Santa & Mrs. Claus and superheroes greeted the exciting children. After registration, volunteers from the Tucson AZ Medical Center custom fit each child with a safety helmet. Volunteers from the Amphi High School basketball team assisted kids and carried their new gifted bicycle to take home to assemble by parents or guardians. We have five hundred excited kids who received bicycles as a Christmas gift. Thanks to Tucson AZ KVOA Channel 4 video that covered our event.
