Saturday December 12 many members of Garland Elk's Lodge gave their Saturday morning to be away from family and routine chores, to gather and collect food and create bundles of Holiday food donations. These donations included but were not limited to a Frozen Turkey and complete trimmings and other food supplies.
I know many of our volunteers were motivated by a variety of reasons. I am always impressed with the Lodge members who take the time to be inclusive and help guide and direct those persons that show up with that volunteer spirit and are happy to participate in a spiritually uplifting cause.
Each volunteer comprises our chain of success and is a valuable link.Let no volunteer be left behind.
Over 50 deserving families were provided our Holiday Food gifts.
