Sunday August 20th, 2023. West Shore Elks hosted the 3rd Annual Family Fun Day.
Family Fun Day is a community outreach open house. The public is invited to attend for free. Over 65 volunteers, representing every committee, shared their missions and good works with the over 600 visitors.
The Home Service Committee treated kids to face panting but also shared their state wide mission. Youth activities hosted a variety of carnival style games with free prizes. The Drug Awareness committee also had youth games but also shared interesting pamphlets with information about the dangers of drug use.
The Elks Riders not only had several beautiful motorcycles on display but also supplied soft drinks and hot dogs. They also had a prize wheel.
New to this year’s festival, was Neil McMillin, caricature artist and Keystone Makers, who hosted S.T.E.A.M activities like 3d printing and origami lessons. Line dancing lessons were held in the ballroom for both children and adults.
The Activities Committee hosted the 3rd Annual Chili cookoff. Congratulations to our 3 winners,
