MT 988 Project
During the past several months, Bozeman Elks Lodge #463 and the Veterans Alliance of Southwest Montana have partnered with Montana State University to promote the MT 988 Project, a suicide awareness program that aims to empower people to ask for help.
Graphic design students at Montana State University partnered with MSU's Veteran Service Office and local veterans to create suicide prevention-themed “challenge coins” meant to increase awareness of suicide and resources available to help people, including veterans, who are in crisis.
Below is an image of one of the challenge coins. It provides a resource to both veterans and civilians when this place feels too big.
