Christmas for Veterans!
On two consecutive Saturdays, Dec 17 and 24, our Lodge served veterans at the VA Domiciliary and the Fisher House on JBER. The 40+ residents of “The Dom” all received gifts and a turkey/ham dinner with all the sides. (1422)
The 20 residents at the Fisher House got the same menu, hot and delivered to their door at 4 pm on Christmas Eve. There was way too much food for the 20 people so we threw in several loaves of bread, mayo and gallons of milk to work on the leftovers!
