The Dollars for Scholars Golf fund Raiser

For CHS Students college or trade School June 14th 1 pm

See Attached!

WE NEED PLAYERS AND SPONSORS,  if you can't make it we will miss you, but we can cash your check.

There will be a couple flights, Tis a fun Scramble.  If you haven't played golf Youll do fine!  Flights will be Handicapped golfers (two or more hndcp players in a group will be added, divided and averaged) and fun lovers, a calloway thing, one or less hancpped players in a foursome, Andy will tell me how that works.

First place in each flight will be $300 1st place, Second $200, certificates in the pro shop.

If we get private sponsors for KP's, Tee boxes and long putt so much the better, possibly honey pot stuff.  I hope Andy Takes the lead in that stuff to help.  Girls and Boys Golf teams may sell "favors" on some holes  and Lance is thinking about selling string at $1.00 per six inches for gimmees..

I have been word of mouthing of The June 14th Tourney, a couple days after school is out,  and getting great response.

I have attached a draft and, Marlene, need your logo again.  Elks are co-sponsoring the event so we have food and beverages from the lodge, non hosted.  Also with the Elks cosponsor all golf pass holders get to play for $50 not $75.  That increases our field by lots.  the course charges $25 per participant to rent the course and that's more than fair,  but in this case if you are a pass holder it's just a fun scramble format on a friday sunny afternoon for $50.  A great cause, our kiddos.

Rodeo wont affect it.

I hope to tap into the local educators/staff and chamber, Rotary, Elks, Eagles etc for players.  Pete, would you get this email to Brian Cecil, I'm not getting his email pulled up.

You may want to RSVP a power cart from Andy ASAP,  684 5508

The course is reserved for 1 pm June 14th!, once Marlene and ER Jim agree on the flyer I will get it out. A draft is attached!

Ryke would you share this with Chamber and Doc Snook with Rotary?  , Tim and Rod, with the Forest Service, Ryan with FD, Supt Pete to schools, and on and on!!!

What's it take to sponsor a KP or a long putt or a hole or a long drive, Heck $50 and you're in. If too many sponsor a kp, or whatever, we can probably throw it in the scholarship pot.    we can do honey pots for gross and net skins for the more determined, I suspect West will coordinate that.

Input and Volunteers???

A thousand years ago I worked in the schools and Dr. Lon Hatfield and the board gave my department $80,000 to use in SpEd (The Spencer Scholarship).  we built a fund to give scholarships to students with disabilities for college and trades off the interest.  Still happening today, Let's promote our students our seniors,  let's getter done.
