Secretary's Message - 3-16-2026

Hello #1714!

Taco Night is changing.  Next Monday will be Taco Night, but starting in April Taco Night will be the first and third Mondays of the month.

Tonight's special will be Hamburger Steak served with mashed potatoes and veggies.  Appetizers and the lunch menu will also be available.  New item on the appetizer menu is mozzarella sticks served with marinara sauce.

On Wednesday night we will be serving Chicken Fried Chicken and Friday's dinner special is Lobster Tail.  Reservations are always welcome.  870-425-3266.

The Entertainment Committee has planned a St. Patrick's Day Celebration & Fundraiser for Friday, March 20th. There will be a pool tournament (must pre-register for pool tournament at the bar), arm wrestling, stein holding and beer chugging. There will be contests, prizes, raffles and entertainment by DJ Tim Gunn. It all sounds like fun!  And there is also the Queen of Hearts.

We are promoting a membership drive this month.  The Lodge is open to the public all month for lunch service.

Last Friday's Queen of Hearts winners were Kari Cotter ($100), Stewart Brunner ($50) and Esperanza Harvey (drink). The total in that account is $18,174 but the payout is capped at $5,000.

Join us next Friday, March 27th for Officer Awards and Installation at 5PM.

The Elk Ladies are going to have a Down-Home Bar-B-Q & Membership Drive on Saturday, April 25th.  Social hour is 5pm and dinner service starts at 5:30pm.  They will be serving pulled pork prepared by Bob's Billiards, potato salad, slaw, baked beans & desserts.  There will be dance music provided by a DJ , 50/50 & basket raffles.  The cost is $16 per person and tickets are available at the bar.  This event is open to the public.

See you at the Lodge!
