It is truly an honor to serve as your Lodge Secretary, and I’m excited for the year ahead working alongside E.R. Bob and his outstanding slate of officers. We started our year with a District Deputy clinic on April 18 at Selbyville Lodge and had a great turnout of officers and members attend. It was a great reminder of the strength and dedication within our Southeast District. If you’ve never attended one of these sessions, I strongly encourage you to do so—they are not just for officers. All members are welcome, and any prospective officer will benefit greatly from the opportunity to connect, learn, and see the impressive work being done here within our state association and local district. As a Lodge, we were “-1” in members for the year ending 3/31/26. While we gained 30 new members, we lost 31 either through non-payment, transfer dimits, or death. The majority of those lost were by non-payment (18). Let’s all work on that number this year and have a solid gain of members! As your secretary, my goal is to be accessible, responsive, and supportive of our membership. If you ever need assistance, have questions, or just want to connect, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always available by email or cell. Additionally, our lodge continues to thrive because of the dedication of our volunteers, and we are always in need of more helping hands, especially for BINGO and other lodge activities. Your involvement makes a difference, and I encourage everyone to take part in keeping our lodge strong and active.
