It’s November already!
ENF donations are down. Participation is down. No matter your reason for not participating, our community will
suffer next year if we cannot get our ENF donations up. I am not talking about participation in the lounge. Eating
cheap meals and drinking cheap drinks. That’s not why we are here… I’m talking about individual member
donations to ENF. Because of member generosity last year, we received $11,000 in grant money from Grand
Lodge to donate to our community this year. As you will read in this newsletter, We are able to give $3,000 in
new winter coats to kids in need, $3,000 to help new mothers and babies in need, and $5,000 to the Seniors 50
Plus Center. ALL right here in Pocomoke. This is only happening because of the grants we received due to our
donations to ENF last year. Please donate to ENF any way you can. Add a donation to your bar/dinner tab, give
cash, send in a check, or become a Fidelity club member. We want to be able to get those grants every year.

Volunteers for lounge/events. We see posts all the time about all the things that other lodges are doing (social
events) for their members. Do you know the ONLY way they are offering those things to their members. They
have people volunteering. We have lots of ideas of things to do and only about 10-15 members of our almost 500
membership who are willing to help. We all like to have a good time. If you have ideas for an event, great, bring
it to the house committee. If you do present an idea to the house committee, please be sure it can be presented
with a plan and volunteers lined up to make it happen.
