On August 15, 2026 Middletown Lodge #1097 held its annual Back to School Day event. Approximately 150 local children from Kindergarten to High School received backpacks full of school supplies for the upcoming school year. The children and their families also received a healthy hot breakfast thanks to our kitchen crew headed by Ken Vernooy. The event was funded by an ENF Grant obtained by our dedicated Grant Writer PER Jenn Neuburger. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this event a resounding success! You really know what Elkdom is all about!
