January is here, the New Year is here, the weather turns colder, snow and ice are on the roads and things slow down after the hectic December.

Here is some of the things happening in January:

The Lodge is closed on January 1st and 2nd for the Holiday.

The First Lodge meeting is on January 4th. The Red Cross will be at the Lodge for their monthly Blood Drive from 8 am to 2 pm and at 7:30 p.m. will be our Lodge Meeting

The Elk of the Year and Lady Elk of the Year are having a spaghetti Dinner on Friday, January 13th in the Lodge.

The Monthly Card Party is on the 14th.

Support the Hoop Shoot at the Pancake Breakfast on the 15th. The money goes to help send our Lodge Winners to District, State, Regional, and Grand Lodge Hoop Shoot.

We have some impressive kids this year, I hope all will support them at the Pancake Breakfast.

The second Lodge meeting is on the 18th with a Trustee Meeting at 5:00

There is a half-chicken dinner prepared by John Conners and Jerry Ransom on the 20th at 5:15  p.m.

We will be having an $8.00 Lodge Breakfast on the 29th. The menu is eggs to order, hash browns, French Toast, and Breakfast meat.

We are going to try a smaller breakfast for a lower price, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
