Hello members, I am happy to announce that last month the Veterans Committee was able to help relocate a Veteran and fellow Elk, Joe Mollo to the NYS Veterans Home. Last month Joe was all set to move from Melbourne FL to the Oxford Home. He had drivers for his U-Haul truck with his belongings and his car all lined up. Then the driver of the U-Haul had to go into surgery and was unable to make the trip. One of our lodge members stepped up and flew to Florida to drive the U-Haul truck for Joe. A huge shout out to Rich Griswold for helping out a Veteran and Elk in need. Doug Henderson and yours truly finished the job by getting Joe all settled into his new home.
