My dad, Kenneth Anderson, was a member of the Bristol Lodge. At his wake in 1982 members recited a poem and I think rang a bell after each stanza. It was something to do with eleven o’clock. Would love that have copy to show his grand and great grandkids.

Ho, ho, ho, Yes that's right, Christmas is right around the corner. Before we talk about December I want to send out a big Thank You to everyone who helped out over the Thanksgiving holidays. You know who you are. We couldn't have done it without you. 150 turkey dinners were delivered. We will have served Thanksgiving meals to anyone who came through our door.

We are gearing up for December with not only our usual events, Burger Nights, Karaoke Fridays, but we have Sunday, December 2nd starting us with the our first breakfast followed by our annual Elks Memorial Service . Beautiful service in honor of our members whom we lost this past year.

We have the sign up sheet for the Kids Christmas Party, don't forget to add your child so Santa can pack a gift in his bag for the party on the 16th. Which reminds me, we have a Big Toy Bag full of goodies we are currently rattling off. Make plans to come out to the adult party on the 22nd. Bring a wrapped present to play our exchange/swap/steal game. Plus the Big Secret Santa reveal.

New Year's Eve Party, come out and celebrate!

We do have our last initiation of 2018, I have found it nice to experience the initiation as a sitting member. So much I don't remember from my own initiation. Plus it a great way to meet our new members and welcome them into our Lodge.

Check the calendar for any dinners and other events.

God Bless, Merry Christmas Happy New Year Joe Galioto Exalted Ruler Kathy Galioto Chaplain

Worked all of the fundraising events including piggy chase and turkey chase. Are there any 50 years + members left? Many regards , Tom Sipe

WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO ??????? I CHECKED IT ON SNOPES & IT SAYS: TRUE !

This should make your blood boil...it DOES mine!

ABC NEWS BANS FLAG LAPEL PINS!

YESTERDAY THE BRASS AT ABC NEWS ISSUED ORDERS FORBIDDING REPORTERS TO WEAR LAPEL PIN AMERICAN FLAGS OR OTHER PATRIOTIC INSIGNIA. THEIR REASONING WAS THAT ABC SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL ABOUT 'CAUSES'.

SINCE WHEN IS SUP P ORT FOR PREVENTING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION SOME SORT OF A 'CAUSE'? SINCE WHEN IS PATRIOTISM TO BE DISCOURAGED?

I URGE YOU TO BOYCOTT ABC AND ITS SPONSORS AND AFFILIATES. WE ARE SLOWLY LOSING EVERYTHING OUR COUNTRY STANDS FOR AND EVERYTHING OUR MEN AND WOMEN FOUGHT AND DIED TO PRESERVE!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO AS MANY AS YOU CAN. THIS HAS BEEN VERIFIED THROUGH: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/noflags.asp
