from Winter Park, FL, Lodge #1830

My brother Alan and I stopped by and were warmly greeted.

This was our third visit to Woonsocket 850 (2006, 2009 and last night). We met Ray, your new DDGER Maurice Berube and Joyce Berube who were all warm and friendly.

We were sorry to learn of the passing of Rollo (Ray Allard) who along with his cousin, Lisa Paredo, welcomed us in 2009. Maurice did not fail to bring us current with the good works of the Lodge and you have a good reputation.

A recent transfer to my Lodge from Keene NH, PER Heather Kemper and I had previously discussed your friendly Lodge and I want to tell you that it has not changed.

Keep up the good work.

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

from Winter Park, FL, Lodge #1830

I wrote about your website in Dec.2006, but finally got to visit your Lodge in its 106th year. I was visiting my home state of R.I. from Orlando FL, so my brother Alan and I stopped by.

We met Darryl, your Steward, and Rollo (Ray Allard). Also, Phil had come back from Grand Lodge ritual competition and we discussed the excellent ritual I had seen from Woonsocket in Anaheim, North Carolina and Orlando. Rollo's cousin, Lisa Paredo, was a great hostess- giving me the tour from the eyes of a "7 month Elk". Keep up the good work, Lisa, and good luck as an Esquire and Elk.
