I am scouting around for an organization that would be interested in chartering a BSA Cub Scout Pack that is already formed and active. Perhaps someone from your Lodge could get in contact with me?

Greetings from Prescott, AZ Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Great job, Riverside- mid-term there was outstanding. Your lodge was warm and welcoming, and we appreciate the time and effort it took to coordinate this event. Food at your lodge was terrific, and everyone involved in the task of trying to accomodate your visitors who came for dinners and comraderie was friendly and cheerful. Thank you so very much!

Well, I have just completed my first weekend outing with the Riverside Elks RV club. I just want to convey a thanks and to say what a great time it was. The wagon masters, Millie and Patrick did an outstanding job of organizing and orchestrating the joint meals, games and activities. This part of the Riverside Elks will become an additional nice perk to my new Elks membership.

Also, a couple of weeks ago I stayed in the Elks RV parks in Rancho Cordova and Santa Cruz. They provided water and electric hookups for our stay for only a $15 donation. This is another outstanding perk for Elk membership.

I came to the site after reading an article online about the woodcarvers that meet here. I was especially taken by the "Declaration of Independence" done by Bill Thurlow. It looks like this is an active and beautiful Lodge. I don't know that I have ever visited one with a Chapel.

I received an e-mail containing the following comment from a gentleman and I thought it would be nice to see it in our guestbook for others to see.

"My great grandfather, Mart Mummy, was a member of the Riverside lodge in the 1920s and 30s. I appreciate the listing under "absent elks" and the fact that you have a significant amount of historic material on your site."

I really love this web-site...I came across it while doing a Google search on my brothers name, R Warner Vitelle a P.E.R. After viewing the numerous photos, I thought that a photo of the wall of the Past Exalted Rulers would make a fine addition. It might take two or three shots to get them all in so that they are recognizable, but I think it would really add a bit of the history of the Lodge.

My brother and I spent many an enjoyable evening there....
