Rock Anderson (rock@prescottelks.org)

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

from Pinal Mountain, AZ, Lodge #2809

Greetings Fountain Hills and ER Bill, I finally made it home after visiting your lodge with DD Mike. That made a long day. I was just looking at your Lodge newsletter and lo and behold I saw that this lodges birthday is October 7. My birthday is also October 7. So I send belated birthday greetings to your all and hope you continue to have a prosperous year. We will soon have the knights stations built and we plan on sprucing up the stations before we get them down to you. May be I will drive down and I can have some Ice Cream after the work is done.

Fraternally yours, Kevin Kenney, PER Esquire to DD Mike Murphy

Hello Arizona Elks! Just a reminder that the Show Low Lodge #2090 is hosting the Arizona Elks Major Projects Golf Tournament on August 22 & 23 and we are counting on every lodge in our state to send an awesome donation so that the auction and raffle will raise tons of money for Major Projects. We'd love to get gift certificates for a round of golf, a resort stay or even dinner at a restaurant in your area. Please contact me about your lodge's donation. Elkdom thanks you.

Please place the "Dine to Donate" (Arizona Major Project Donation Event involving Tucson Applebee's) on your Lodge Calendar.

The event will be July 30, 2008. Anyone who has the "Dine to Donate" flier can eat at any of Tucson's four Applebee's and 10% of the bill will go to Arizona Major Projects.

The dining time for the event is 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

You can obtain the "Dine to Donate" flier on the BPOE Lodge #2851 VHP.

Thanks for your lodge's support. Come and join us if you are in Tucson. I'm sure you will help make "Dine to Donate" successful.

Good to see a Lodge formed in Fountain Hills.

When we use to go to Las Vegas we would stop and see my wufe's sister-in-law in Fountain Hills.

Their name is Fett, Dianne and Ron.

We would stop at the Scottdale lodge.

Good Luck
