Frank Ray (frankray@prodigy.net)

from Plant City, FL, Lodge #1727

Greetings from the South, I have been a memeber of the order for 2 years and it is a Great Fraternity, we had the pleasure of having one of our own, Michael Smith and his lovely wife to be elected as the Grand Exalted Ruler for 2011. I graduated High School with Mike and Sandy in 67 had set him up at the convention when my brotherinlaw PER Robert Raleigh was at the convention in MD, Mike didnt know that anybody knew about the Parkesdale Farms Strawberry stand nor the Strawberry Festival held every year here, let alone that Robert had attended the festival prior to the Md convention. A lot of fun was generated by that because I had just submitted my petitoin for the lodge at that time. Mike stated "well we will see about that, but I was accepted and have enjoyed it ever since. The BPOE is comprised of the Best People On Earth. I hope that Robert takes the next step from DDGER to the next level. My wife (Debbie Raleigh from the huge metropolis of Fairlee) are thinking about moving to Ctown but have not made any definite plans, its a little cold up there. Sincerely Frank Ray AEC USN Ret

Rock Anderson (rock@prescottelks.org)

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

from Dover, DE, Lodge #1903

I had the pleasure of attending the District Hoop Shoot which your Lodge hosted on 01/26/08. My daughter competed in the 8-9 year old girl's group and it was an excellent experience for her. The dinner and award ceremony your Lodge held after the event was enjoyed by all the participants and their families. Just wanted to say thank you to all your volunteers - they did an outstanding job!!!
