Rock Anderson (rock@prescottelks.org)

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

from Smithtown, NY, Lodge #2036

Greetings from Smithtown, New York. We had the pleasure of having our State President, Mike Bloss, and his lovely wife Pat, stop by our lodge while he was in the area yesterday. They were accompanied by Stephen Bariteau, PER and his wife, Judy. It was a pleasure meeting them all. We had a very pleasent chat and took some pictures, one of which is posted on our website's news page.

I am looking forward to seeing them all again at the State and National Conventions later this month and in July.

I must also complement you on your web-site one of the nicest and most complete I have seen. I had visited your site and signed your guest book some years ago when I was doing research learning to be the cyber assistant. I see the posting is still there.

Congratulations on having the State President the Honorable Michael J. Bloss. I had a great time a the convention. Your parade in was creative along with your hospitality room being welcoming. I would ask that you consider setting up a Facebook site and encourage Pres. Bloss to do the same . You would be surprised how many have a regular site. My lodge is working on it. One of the most active is Guildersland. The trick is to maintain it daily and if you can hourly

This virtual website is extremely informative and easy to use! Compared to other lodge's websites, this one has so much more information on events at the lodge and information on the major activities the Elks' sponsor.
