from Bristol County, RI, Lodge #1860

Greetings from Bristol County RI #1860 - I want to thank those in the lounge and especially to Exalted Ruler Mary Anna Leo and her husband Len (PER) for the hospitality and the tour on Saturday, October 4th. My son was invited to an all day martial arts seminar over in Westford, followed by a team dinner at a local restaurant Saturday night. It’s about a 1 ½ hr drive one way from RI so we decided to stay overnight. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Chelmsford lodge was about 5 minutes from the hotel!

After a little sight-seeing of the area, I stopped in to your lodge. I had a great time while having a couple of cold ones and a late lunch. You all have a beautiful lodge with great amenities for the members and local community. The ample parking, spacious horseshoe style bar and connecting lounge area, pool tables, banquet and kitchen areas, outdoors garden area and pavilion all were impressive but it always comes down the membership. Thanks for the welcome from this visiting member!

Come down to Bristol, RI for a visit. We may not have the largest facility but being right on the water, we have some of the best water side sunset views you’ll ever see and some of the friendliest Elks in Rhode Island. Best wishes to all!

With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our page. We have a very content rich site. Hi Folks - sure miss the good old times at the Lodge. Hope to check out the new facility when I'm back in MA next May. Don't miss the snow storms and freezing cold, although it has been a chilly winter here in N.C. Regards to all -

Hi I was hoping to speak to you about renting the hall for our swim team Banquet. We have been having it at a restaurant but they have raised the price $3.50 a person & this is too much for us to cover. We would need Three 2 and a 1/2 hour blocks if you can accommodate numbers between 200 & 230 in your hall. We could have a different age group at 11:30, 2:30 & 5:30 on the same Saturday in March, if that would work for you, if that wouldn't work We could spread it out over a couple of weeks. Cheryl Farrell Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica Aquatic Director 978-667-2193 x109 cell 978-502-1741. We have 275 children on our 2 swim teams from 16 surrounding communities including Chelmsford
