Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

Members all. I just wanted to pass on a message from yesterday's District meeting to all of you. First, we had 11 officers/members present. This was the most Lodge representation out of the 9 Lodges within our District. Thank you to those individuals who came and proudly sat in on the meeting and District Deputy clinic. Now the feel good part! Not only did our District Deputy use our Lodge as an example of what the other Lodges need to be doing within their communities, but our State President used our Lodge as an example TWICE! Oak Lawn Lodge is being HIGHLY recognized within the district and the State and recognition and positive PR is on all of the efforts and programs that we are doing and successfully giving back to the community. You all should be so proud to be part of probably one of the BEST Lodges in the State. Our dictionary project, drug awareness program and our Veteran's Program are just to name a bit on what State President Kirk Wallace touched upon and COMMENDED our Lodge on our efforts and what we are accomplishing. THIS IS ELKDOM and what we need to continue to do. THIS is what our Organization is about. I am so proud and so honored to be affiliated with our great Lodge and to be amongst great people. Please, give all of yourselves a pad on the back and continue to spread Elkdom and build on the programs that matter most to the children, our Vet's and the community. Our work is no where near done. With it now being the beginning of the school year we have many projects ahead like Hoop Shoot, Red Ribbon Month in October for the DAP Program, dictionary distribution and instruction for the local third grade students, Student of the Month, scholarships, essay contests and before you know it, December will be here and the Needy Family program will be back in full swing. This is just a small taste of what we still have left to accomplish on our agenda of spreading Elkdom throughout the community. It may sound like a lot but if we all continue to work together, we can successfully meet our goals of accomplishing these tasks and will feel rewarded when it is complete. We really and truly are the "Best People On Earth!" Please forward this message on to other Members of Oak Lawn Elks Lodge that I did not have addresses for. Thanks. Fraternally,

Kellie M. Hummel, Exalted Ruler Oak Lawn Elks Lodge #2254

This has been a long week out of town here in Utah for work. I had the opportunity to visit the Murray Lodge #2344 here in Utah. As always, Elks made me feel right at home. However as Dorothy said "There is no place like home" and I had to visit our Lodge website. GREAT JOB Rita and Earl. I LOVE the updates on the photo gallery. It made me feel back home again. Keep up the great work!

Great start on the web site!

As my lodge cyber-assistant, I know that it is time consuming, but it well worth the time and effort. We have doubled the mount of our lodge members who are now registered with elks.org just so they can check the news on our website.
