Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. I'm the incoming Lecturing Knight of the Chula Vista Lodge #2011. My mom, Becky Munoz, is also a member. My grandpa, Jim Miller was a member of your lodge for over 40 years. I just thought I would mention that my mom was recently elected our Elk of the Year, following in the footsteps of my grandpa. He was Elk of the Year at your lodge. I remember visiting your lodge when I was younger with him and I'm so proud to be a part of something he loved.

My husband and I attended the annual dinner to honor our veterans tonight, November 8, 2008 at Show Low's Elks Lodge No. 2090 (in conjunction with Show Low VFW Post No. 9907).

The dinner was exceptional. The evening couldn't have been more patriotic, delightful and well done. It warmed our hearts to meet so many great people.

A big “thanks” for honoring vets.

Joy and Rick Molzen.

Please place the "Dine to Donate" (Arizona Major Project Donation Event involving Tucson Applebee's) on your Lodge Calendar.

The event will be July 30, 2008. Anyone who has the "Dine to Donate" flier can eat at any of Tucson's four Applebee's and 10% of the bill will go to Arizona Major Projects.

The dining time for the event is 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

You can obtain the "Dine to Donate" flier on the BPOE Lodge #2851 VHP.

Thanks for your lodge's support. Come and join us if you are in Tucson. I'm sure you will help make "Dine to Donate" successful.

from Show Low, AZ, Lodge #2090

I just wanted to let everyone know what a great event the "polar bear plunge" turned out to be. I was hoping to see more Elks out there to support the cause but it was fun anyways. Between the Elks and the Emblem Club we raised $625.00 for Special Olympics. Actually another $40 is due for the Elks that were there aso that totals $665.00. Not to shabby! Thats much higher then the annual $50.00 that is donated. Thanks Everyone! A special thanks to Gregg Boyce for all that you do and Billy Messmore for selling hearts and Dehorah Smith for cutting them out and suggestive selling. I love all you guys! Thank You All! Marie Nunez

I wanted to let everyone know that Gregg Boyce got permission to donate $300.00 for Polar Bear Plunge. In addition, he stated that $10.00 would be donated for every Elk member that showed up to Support Me take the plunge for Special Olympics. So please, those of you who can come out to support this event would greatly assist in benefiting the cause. Not to mention you get to watch me jump in a frozen lake! It sounds fun right? It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it! The event is Feb 16th @ 11am located at Show Low Lake. Thank You all very much Gratefully, Marie
