Hello from Ridgecrest, CA Lodge here in the Mojave Desert! From time to time I see that a couple of your RVers have spent some time with us. I used to be stationed at the base there back in the early 70's; in fact my youngest was born at Luke and we barely made it because of the train coming! I knew the Mendoza's and the Birchfields. Are any of them members? I am PER and presently Lecturing Knight. Lots to do in Elkdom. It's all about brotherly love!

Rock Anderson (rock@prescottelks.org)

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

Hello Arizona Elks! Just a reminder that the Show Low Lodge #2090 is hosting the Arizona Elks Major Projects Golf Tournament on August 22 & 23 and we are counting on every lodge in our state to send an awesome donation so that the auction and raffle will raise tons of money for Major Projects. We'd love to get gift certificates for a round of golf, a resort stay or even dinner at a restaurant in your area. Please contact me about your lodge's donation. Elkdom thanks you.

i spoke with your secretary Neva and thought i'd take a look @ your web site.

The picture of the sign outside shows me its flatter right in your area than us here in Indiana. i didn't think that was possible.

Steve Chrisman (nitroxer@cox.net)

Please place the "Dine to Donate" (Arizona Major Project Donation Event involving Tucson Applebee's) on your Lodge Calendar.

The event will be July 30, 2008. Anyone who has the "Dine to Donate" flier can eat at any of Tucson's four Applebee's and 10% of the bill will go to Arizona Major Projects.

The dining time for the event is 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

You can obtain the "Dine to Donate" flier on the BPOE Lodge #2851 VHP.

Thanks for your lodge's support. Come and join us if you are in Tucson. I'm sure you will help make "Dine to Donate" successful.
