Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

Enjoyed your lodge photos--very enviable lodge activities roster. If iever get back to Ariz, will try to look you up. Had lunch while passing thru area at Show-Low lodge on my last business trip to Albuquerqe combined with 3-4 days vacation tour of Southeastern Ariz--primarily Tombstone area. Rest was in 'fly-by' mode. You have one of our OWEGO, NY 1039 members retired in your area for past 6-7 yrs(Charlie Glenn, whom I only know via email). Great website.

Hello Arizona Elks! Just a reminder that the Show Low Lodge #2090 is hosting the Arizona Elks Major Projects Golf Tournament on August 22 & 23 and we are counting on every lodge in our state to send an awesome donation so that the auction and raffle will raise tons of money for Major Projects. We'd love to get gift certificates for a round of golf, a resort stay or even dinner at a restaurant in your area. Please contact me about your lodge's donation. Elkdom thanks you.

Happy Ground Hog Day Everyone, oh yeah to early. The Leather committee has finished up collecting animal hides for 2008 and we finished with 54 deer hides which is not bad considering the hunting season was shortened up on Fort Huachuca. We are now collecting for 2009 and tell all your Friends about us that we collect animal hides all year long, just telephone me and I'll be there to get them. Thank you Larry Colby for all your help getting a container for me to work in, if needed, and to store the hides. Thank you also to John Foster for the ten bags of salt, we used it all plus six more bags. I'm in my eight year and if there is someone who wants my job make it known. I'm looking forward to the volunteer dinner and setting up an information table in February to show the committees wares and a few surprises too. Travel safely Andrew Anderson & The Leather Committee

The Leather Committee is hard at work processing animal hides. Although the post cut the time for hunting by four weeks on post we are doing ok. We are still looking for buffalo and elk hides to really top off our endeavors. Remember, tell all your Friends about us and that we want their hide (?). The Very Best Christmas and the most plentiful new year 2009.

Please place the "Dine to Donate" (Arizona Major Project Donation Event involving Tucson Applebee's) on your Lodge Calendar.

The event will be July 30, 2008. Anyone who has the "Dine to Donate" flier can eat at any of Tucson's four Applebee's and 10% of the bill will go to Arizona Major Projects.

The dining time for the event is 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

You can obtain the "Dine to Donate" flier on the BPOE Lodge #2851 VHP.

Thanks for your lodge's support. Come and join us if you are in Tucson. I'm sure you will help make "Dine to Donate" successful.
