Lodge #1903 Guest Book

Chris Reardon (redawn5@hotmail.com)

from Poughkeepsie, NY, Lodge #275

Can't thank you folks enough for the hospitality you showed us during race weekend! It was nice to feel "at home" and welcomed as if it was our home lodge. Special thanks to Bill/Theresa, Debbie, and ER Marv. Made us feel right at home. Wherever an Elk may roam... Thanks again for everything. We will be back! As always, if you are ever in NY stop in and see us at #275.

Recent dinner menu seems to favor the House Commitee (sic) rather than the members. Example: recent stroganoff dinner featured meatballs... 2 meatballs per regular dinner, 6 per commitee member!!! Find this very segratory, & will find it real hard to promote my own lodge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lived in Dover 1962-1963, then moved to Camden for a year. I played Little League Baseball on the Elks sponsored team. Was wondering if there were ever any pictures saved of teams you sponsored archived anywhere. Fraternally always. BB

from Wellsville, NY, Lodge #1495

A contingent of members from Wellsville NY Lodge 1495 visited your lodge on Thurs. Sept. 23rd while visiting the area for the NASCAR races. As usual we were greeted by a large numnber of "regulars" that made us feel right at home. Our server Deb, was very gracious and pleasant and our lunch was spectacular. The salads and sandwiches were great. Thanks to the members of #1903. See you in the spring - if not before. Tim Colligan, PDDGER Wellsville, NY 1495

WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO ??????? I CHECKED IT ON SNOPES & IT SAYS: TRUE !

This should make your blood boil...it DOES mine!

ABC NEWS BANS FLAG LAPEL PINS!

YESTERDAY THE BRASS AT ABC NEWS ISSUED ORDERS FORBIDDING REPORTERS TO WEAR LAPEL PIN AMERICAN FLAGS OR OTHER PATRIOTIC INSIGNIA. THEIR REASONING WAS THAT ABC SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL ABOUT 'CAUSES'.

SINCE WHEN IS SUP P ORT FOR PREVENTING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION SOME SORT OF A 'CAUSE'? SINCE WHEN IS PATRIOTISM TO BE DISCOURAGED?

I URGE YOU TO BOYCOTT ABC AND ITS SPONSORS AND AFFILIATES. WE ARE SLOWLY LOSING EVERYTHING OUR COUNTRY STANDS FOR AND EVERYTHING OUR MEN AND WOMEN FOUGHT AND DIED TO PRESERVE!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO AS MANY AS YOU CAN. THIS HAS BEEN VERIFIED THROUGH: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/noflags.asp

Thanks for doing the Lodge of Sorrows for my Dad. I wish I'd been there, but I didn't think to check and see when it was happening.

To all the friends that attended my Dad's Celbration of Life, thanks. It was really something to see over 200 folks get together and remember Bernie.

I like your VHP! You've really made good use of it to inform your members and potential guests of what you have to offer. I especially like seeing your Youth Activites and Remember Dates pages. I may borrow some of this stuff from you! A pleasure visiting, even if it was only on the internet! Best wishes to you and your membership!
