Lodge #1784 Guest Book

Rock Anderson (rock@prescottelks.org)

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

Bud Warren (bwarren5@cox.net)

I belonged to the Westbrook Elks for 10 years in the 70's. Had the privelege of serving on the House Committee. I think we had more fun than the patrons. The Sunday Polka Hops and Blue Plate specials were a great family day. Moved to Virginia Beach, Va, but was never able to find an Elks Lodge that could measure up to Westbrook.

Bill Whalen (wfxw1@earthlink.net)

from Inverness, FL, Lodge #2522

Stopped by a few times while visiting the "old stomping grounds". Of course, 35 years ago, a young sub sailor might not have thought about a peaceful visit to an Elks Lodge...

Enjoyed your lunch menu -- great chow. I've got to get MY lodge to put Sam Adams on tap!

#2522 is also on a (lake) shore -- visit us some winter!

Frank Fieldhouse, PER (FHField@aol.com)

from Catalina Mountain, AZ, Lodge #2815

Greetings from Catalina Mountain Lodge 2815 in the Grand Canyon State of Arizona. You certainly have been receiving great publicity for your Blood Drive. The councilman couldn't have done a better job. Apparently the newspapers don't particularily like him or his actions. Keep up the good works for Elkdom and the American Red Cross.

Lillian Gaffney (lgaffney@jupitermedia.com)

My daughter won 3rd place in your "drug awareness" poster contest (Academy School, Madison). We will be attending the pizza party to honor the students today, Sunday 25th. We are extremely grateful that you are focusing on the younger children in this fight against drug and alcohol abuse. This will give them the necessary knowledge and confidence as they develop into strong teenagers. Thank you!

Jacqueline Knox (knoxj@nausetschools.org)

from Orleans Eastham, MA, Lodge #2572

Surfing the net as I am moving to Tennessee in June, 2003. My late husband, John Knox, (a Connecticut State Trooper), was a member of your lodge for many years. I have been to your beach and to your monthly dinner dances years ago when we lived in Connecticut. John passed away in 1998. I became an ELK in 2002. Prior to that, we have up here, "Widow Cards". To take a more active part in the ELKS, I became a member. Anyway, you don't need to know all that. I just wanted to say "hi". Seeing the Westbrook Elks on the web brought back lots of happy memories.
