Greetings from Prescott, AZ Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. To Whom It May Concern-
My Grandfather, Robert A. Bianchi, has been a member for 60 years with lodge #1443. We received a letter in June 2011 stating there would be a fathers day BBQ where he could pick up his pin. Yet my grandfather is handicap and cant readily get around so we contacted the office in Oxnard and talked with the manager (a male) and asked to have the pin mailed. He obliged and said it would be 2 weeks. Well about Mid August ...still nothing!!! We called and he stated there was a mix up he would have it out. Then September rolls around and nothing. My sister called and said she was coming to pick up the pin because they can't be trusted to mail it. Then we were informed the lodge didn't have any in stock and they and to order it! It's been 3 more months...about 18 messages later with NO answers back and NO pin. Is this how your organization runs?! My grandfather is 86 years old and prides himself as an elks member and is angered at how he's being treated. I don't see a reason it should take 6 months to get a pin! What do we have to do here???
