Lodge #1430 Guest Book

Jason Koontz (jtkoontz@gmail.com)

My Grandfather, Arliss Koontz, loved that lodge. Many of my favorite memories I have with him were spent eating cherries on the bar, or wandering the halls. Hope all is going wonderfully for BPOE 1430!!

Greetings from Prescott, AZ Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Hello brothers and sisters of Ventura Elks Lodge # 1430. On October 22nd, 2009 in the early afternoon I visited your Lodge with my wife Angela. I was very warmly welcomed by Lodge Bar server Lenny. We had a pleasant conversation with members. Howard was setting up Lodge Room for an evening members meeting. We were served an excellent lunch - gigantic and tasty Club Sandwich. Blessings to all Ventura Elks Lodge members George J. Camilton Pasadena Elks - Chaplain

Hi Georgiann, Been a long time since April 2005. Sam Merryman showed me a look at your lodge (being prepared for move in). Then Greg Walsh came here in 2006. I was Esq. and my health forced me to resign. He filled in the rest of the year and continued as Esq. for 2007-8. He, is in full swing here and is now our Leading Knight. We're looking forward to his leadership in 2009-10. Georgiann, I see you are doing the same as I used to do in caring for the lodge web page. Looks pretty good. Congrats to ER Steve, Esq. Ron and all at 1430. Miss seeing you all. Ike, PER (by affiliation) Las Vegas Lodge 1468
