Rock Anderson (rock@prescottelks.org)

from Prescott, AZ, Lodge #330

Greetings from Prescott Lodge #330 "Mother Lodge of Arizona". In December of 1895 a group of enterprising businessmen in Prescott, sturdy products of the early west, charted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Lodge. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, are located about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix. With our mile high elevation (5230 ft), the cities enjoy a four-season climate with both mild winters and summers. Check out our elks.org page. We have a very content rich elks.org site. Featured pages are [Facilites], [Officers], [Elks'n the News], [Extra Pages](includes rich history of our lodge) and especially our [Photo Gallery]. If you have time after looking it over please sign our [Guest Book]. Thank you

Dan Haynes (xmayordan@myway.com)

from Montrose, CO, Lodge #1053

I am now working in San Diego and wish to say hello to all of you Montrose folks. I have been here for about three months and look at this as my last chance to work at a good company before I retire. San Diego Gas & Electric serves the greater San Diego area. I spent six years out here while in the US Navy from 1972-1978 and thought it would be a nice place to retire. In case you do not remember me I am the son of Ross & Helen Haynes, now both deceased. I am also the former Mayor of Montrose and served on the City Council from 1992 to 1996. Have fun & hope to see you soon.

Hey there Jim Pierce, how goes it back there in Montrose?? I'm a Colorado Native. Born in Trinidad, and raised in Denver. Had a home in Grand Junction from 1991 until 1994, and then came back to California, to be close to my kids. My sister currently lives in Grand Junction. Take care, and tell all my fellow Colorado Ridgerunners I said hi. Tom B.

How good it is to see a west slope lodge one of the first online. There was a request from the floor in lodge last evening for Aurora to get on line.
