In Walnut Creek, the members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1811, range in age from 22 to 95. The appeal of the Lodge is philanthropy and companionship: opportunities to contribute time, skills, or money (or a combination) to those less fortunate and to build lasting friendships.
Philanthropic programs benefit both the young and our country's veterans; for example, the scholarship program of the Elks National organization is second only to the U.S. Government's annual awards. Through another important program, community support, Lodge 1811 members recently contributed to the fund for the Walnut Creek Police Dogs.
Friendships both casual and deep are part of life of an Elk. As a member, you are warmly welcomed in all Elks lodges across the country. No one is a stranger in any lodge as you’ll see when you visit us at 1475 Creekside Drive, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, near the corner of South Main & Creekside Drive.
Our calendar is full of special activities from meetings, to dinners and dances to travel, especially RV events. Members have an opportunity to contribute to the plans for Lodge 1811 by participating in bi-monthly meetings. Regularly scheduled dinners, either as drop-in or by reservation, are open to members and their guests. On most days, members gather socially in our bar and lounge.
