Dear Fellow Elks,
Kindly visit our MAIN, LOCAL web site at: http://www.knology.net/~elks1648/index.htm
When in Huntsville, Alabama we cordially invite you to come and visit our Lodge too. We like real people!
Check our website for the hours of our Lodge and our fabulous Club. We are located in the foothills of the mighty
Appalachian Mountains in north Alabama, in downtown Huntsville.
Now a message from our Exalted Ruler, Buzzy Byrom:
Dear Elk Members,
“I would like for all of us to adopt a personal standard by which we all agree to live.
That standard is, we as Members, agree that we are all in 'The Pleasing Business'.
Think of it this way, I am here to please you, you are here to please me, they are all here
to please us, and us them. I would really like for us to be one great big family.
Unity creates strength and loyalty, and those traits will make all of us better Elks
and put us in position to have a fun and successful year.”
- Jerry "Buzzy" Byrom, Exalted Ruler Huntsville Lodge No. 1648
Visit our meetings! Our Lodge meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday* at 7:00 PM, and we're located two blocks from historic downtown Huntsville, Alabama at 725 Franklin Street.

Did you know? Huntsville Elk members were documented at the start of the 21st Century. Those attending the first Lodge No.1648 meeting of the 21st CENTURY signed a roster during the January 9th, 2001 meeting? The original roster is part of our archives. It may the only such roster in the United States!
