Donaldsonville, LA Lodge No. 1153 was instituted in 1909, and currently has 52 members.For the year 2025, the lodge was awarded FREEDOM Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.
The lodge meets 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, except Nov, Dec & Jan, then 2nd Wednesday only, at 113 Railroad Ave, Donaldsonville, LA.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is Lee Melancon, and the Secretary is Heather Dore.
