Galena Elks Lodge welcomes our 7 newest members initiated October 14, 2017



ENF Grant Coordinator Brian Kelly presents a $500 donation check to Missy Dalgarn, Director of The Mop Shop in Elizabeth, IL. The Mop Shop provides free cleaning supplies to those in need throughout Jo Daviess County. The donation was made possible from the funds provided by the Gratitude Grant awarded to the Lodge through the Elks National Foundation Community Investments Program. Our members are honored to support such a dedicated organization.

P.E.R Dan Cogan and Exalted Ruler Doug Laity present a $500.00 donation to volunteers from the Scales Mound Athletic Sports Headquarters. S.M.A.S.H is an organization designed to (1) foster and promote youth sports in the Scales Mound area and (2) support Hornet athletic teams with off-season leagues and tournaments. The donation will help finance the purchase of 1st aid bags. The donation was made possible from the Gratitude Grant awarded through the Elks National Foundation. Our members are honored to support such a wonderful organization.



P.E.R Dan Cogan and Exalted Ruler Doug Laity present a $500.00 donation check to volunteers from the Greater Elizabeth Arts and Recreation Center. G.E.A.R is a not-for-profit organization operated by a group of people dedicated to healthy living whose goal is to provide a wide variety of opportunities to everyone living in and around Elizabeth, IL. The donation will help finance the purchase of a Heart Defibrillator. The donation was made possible from the Gratitude Grant awarded through the Elks National Foundation. Our members are honored to support such a wonderful organization.

Exalted Ruler Doug Laity and ENF Grant Coordinator Brian Kelly present a $500 check to Lynn Berning, Executive Director, of The Workshop in Galena. The Workshop promotes the general welfare of individuals with disabilities in Jo Daviess County by providing vocational, support, and transit services to their consumers. The funds will help finance the improvement of the break room at The Workshop. The donation was made possible from the Gratitude Grant awarded through the Elks National Foundation.
