Our Anniversary of 125 years.

Recently the Uniontown Elks #370 presented dictionaries to 3rd and 4th grade students of A.L. Wilson, Smithfield and Masontown Elementary schools. Three hundred books were distributed to the excited students after a short presentation. The goal of this program is to assist all students in becoming good writers, active readers, creative thinkers, and resourceful learners by providing them with their own personal dictionary. The dictionaries are a gift to each student to use at school and at home for years to come. Uniontown Elks have been sponsors of this program for several years. All faculty and students are very grateful. PICTURE: Students of Masontown Elementary grin from ear to ear after receiving their dictionaries.
