PER Heide Stover presents a check for $531.75 to Special STARS Recreation Club President Ralph Meyers during the club's tailgating party at the South Florida Community College's baseball game on Feb. 22. The Elks raised the funds through a bingo night designated to Special STARS. Their donation will go toward the Special STARS Softball Classic coming up in March. The Elks will be one of the main sponsors. Special STARS provides sports and recreational activities for more than 250 children and adults with mental and physical disabilities in Highlands County

The Sebring Elks with the help of the Bingo Players donated food for 3 needy families for Thanksgiving. As Exalted Ruler, Dick Holmes and Wainetta had the privilege of delivering the gifts.
Friends & members of the Sebring Elks #1529 (along with all Lodges in the United States) gathered December 4th for a Memorial Service for all members who died this past year. The Avon Park High School Show Choir, directed by Joy Loomis “shared their gift of music” and District VP Jim Mason spoke about the History of the Elks 11 O’Clock Toast which honors our deceased members.
