Our Veteran Committee, Chaired by Bert and Evelyn Marple, need your help. There is a collection box in the Lodge hall where items can be placed for either nursing home veterans or active military overseas. Note, no spray items can be sent out of country. Anyone with extra time on their hands, please contact them at 382-7680. Not only do they need items, they need help with transportation on Thursdays to the Nursing Homes. In the Kenilworth home they visit approximately 17 people and they go to each room. In the Palms, they bring approximately 23 residents to one main room and they visit each there. If anyone has a military contact who can provide them names and addresses of embarked military, please get the information to the Marples.
