August 2, 2022, Tucson Elks Lodge donated the $1,000 from the AZ Elks Major Projects per-capita donation goal of $8.00 per member to Amphi High School Basketball summer Kids league for grades 4 through 12. On July 27, 2022, the Tucson Elks Lodge #385 invited 22 Blind Veterans from the VA for a dinner which was served by the some Lodge and American Legion Riders members who also sat and talked about their service with them. All had a good time.

Sounds like fun!



This evening, July 7, 2022, as our extended thank you to the Tucson AZ Street Rod Association (TSRA) for their generous donation of $2,500.00 to sponsor the Elks Lodge 385 Cloth A Child program. (Photo, Myles Brown - TSRA, Wayne Burns - Past Exalted Ruler Elks Lodge 385, Jesse Lugo - TSRA Member and Trustee Elks Lodge 385). Twice a year the Elks Lodge 385 Cloth A Child program takes 25 elementary children on a clothing shopping spree, then treats them for lunch at the Lodge, afterwards gives each child a back pack stuffed with school supplies and then a new bicycle to take home provided by Bike In A Box with www.LugoCharities.com. We welcome you to join us as a member at the Elks Lodge 385 that is located at 1800 North Oracle Road as a grand organization that gives back to the Tucson community through various programs.

On May 25th, 2022, the Tucson AZ Elks Lodge #385 had 17 veterans arrive from the Tucson VA Blind Rehab Center for an amazing dinner of Country Fried Steak, mash potatoes, chocolate cake brownies for dessert. In photo at table and standing are members M. Megerle, W. Thompson and L. Ruiz

On May 1, 2022, the Tucson Elks Lodge #385 held its annual Youth Scholarship, Strings and Americanism program. The Lodge #385 Scholarship donated $7,900.00 and the AZ Elks Association Scholarship program donated another $12,000.00 to 6 of our 10 award winners. Our Harry Dobiesz Strings Program (named after late member Harry Dobiesz) gave 2 violins, 2 violas and 1 cello worth $3,000.00. In addition, we had our Americanism winner! Golf Team from Tucson AZ Lodge #385 won second place in the South District Golf Tournament on April 23, 2022. They shot a score of 59 in a scramble tournament. Tucson AZ Elks Lodge #385 donated 24 soccer balls and basketballs to support Physical Education programs at Tucson AZ Nash Elementary School on Wednesday April 20, 2022. The school was also provided with 160 bottles of water and several American Flags to be used in the classrooms.
