Macon Head Start Receives Donation
Recently, Macon Elks Lodge #999 donated $200 to the Macon Head Start to assist with purchases for the program. Pictured below is Angela Price, Exalted Ruler, and Bethany Butner, Leading Knight, presenting the check to Lila Story, Family Resource Advocate from the Macon Head Start program. Head Start is a nationwide program that serves expectant families and children age birth to five who meet income guidelines. These families experience activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically. Families leave Head Start excited about learning and ready to succeed in all future settings.
